The MIND Research and Analytics Centre

The MIND Research and Analytics Centre is an analytical hub at Maqsut Narikbayev University, established to support scientific research, advance expert knowledge, and foster public dialogue.

The Centre fulfils several key functions:

  • NETWORKING & DEVELOPMENT — We provide a platform for the exchange of ideas between academia, government, business, and civil society. Our aim is to actively develop partnerships with a range of organisations to promote constructive dialogue across key sectors of society. See more
  • The Public Project Office of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan — We collaborate with the legislative branch by providing expert support and contributing to the development and advancement of science-based initiatives.
  • The Research Support Unit — The MIND Research and Analytics Center also offers comprehensive support for the implementation of research projects at Maqsut Narikbayev University. Our mission is to contribute to MNU’s transformation into a research-driven university. As part of this goal, we facilitate scientific activities by identifying and attracting funding for research initiatives, providing organisational support, and promoting research outcomes among key stakeholders from the public sector, major businesses, and the wider community. We maintain active cooperation with the Scientific Schools of Maqsut Narikbayev University. See more

Our areas of work include:

  • Supporting project activities of MNU faculty and researchers;
  • Conducting government relations (GR) research;
  • Fundraising to support scientific projects;
  • Organising closed-door presentations (scientific seminars, roundtables) to promote research within academic and expert circles;
  • Hosting public events (city lectures, discussions) to popularise scientific knowledge among the general public.

We aim to serve as a bridge between science and practice — fostering informed decision-making, advancing sustainable development, and contributing to the creation of an open, knowledge-based society.
